E.M. Branch Associates is seeking a dedicated Independent Contractor to provide clinical counseling services. This role involves delivering professional mental health support, maintaining accurate client records, and managing administrative tasks related to client care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing their own scheduling, invoicing, and reporting while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
Scope of Work:
As an Independent Contractor, the clinician will be responsible for the following services:
- Direct Clinical Counseling Hours – Provide professional mental health counseling to clients in accordance with established best practices.
- Clinical Record-keeping – Maintain detailed and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management – Coordinate and manage client appointments, maintaining an organized and up-to-date calendar.
- Invoicing – Generate and submit invoices for services rendered, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Internal & External Reporting – Complete necessary documentation and reports for internal use and external requirements as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Licensed mental health professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage administrative tasks independently
- Experience with client record-keeping and confidentiality best practices
- Proficiency in scheduling and invoicing processes
- Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with E.M. Branch Associates
Contract Terms:
This is an independent contractor position, meaning the clinician will operate as a self-employed professional and is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses. Work will be performed under the guidelines and expectations set by E.M. Branch Associates but with the flexibility of an independent work schedule.
